Everyone knows the government keeps infinite little secrets never revealed to the public. Some secrets should be kept secret, while others should be told. The Institution of Saint Dameilius is one that should have been kept a secret. Instead, information of the asylum was spread. But not to the public, no. It was spread through the prisons and court systems. This information leaked out and spread in 1979.
Back then, the juvenile detention centers were already beginning to become over populated and the government was looking for more room for the teenagers who broke the law. It was then that the government heard of the Institution of Saint Dameilius. They had heard it was an asylum dedicated to teenagers that was quickly running out of funding. With the lure of having a never ending pot of money, the owners of ISD agreed with the government's terms. They had agreed to let the delinquents use have of the property, and the patients use the other half. On the surface, it was a good plan. The Institution's layout was spread out over two square miles of desert. There were several buildings that were rarely used that the prison side could use, two cafeteria's, two living quarters, two everything. What could go wrong? Everything.
