Effy was suffering a great deal of boredom during her afternoons. Her Father had recently got a friend to care for his youngest daughter and therefore released the burden from Effy as acting mother alone. She wasn't complaining, her wanders were getting to be more distant and more daring as she entered old abandoned mansions and anything else that caught her attention. Effy was known especially among the close village as being one for her wanders. Sometimes she would leave home and not return for days due to the distances she would go. The girl adored her family yet she adored her freedom more. A skilled fighter she was trained well however her five foot one form and only ninety six lbs was rather lacking in strength. She was quick though and agile especially with her archery and work with blades. Impressive for such a pathetic 'cutsie' form.
Slipping off the back of a stallion her small frame was hidden beneath a black cloak however as she pulled down the hood and unfastened it fer form was clearer. Bright red hair was neat and straight, her skin as pale as ivory so much so she could be mistaken for a vampire if it wasn't for that softness of her expression. She always appeared kind, and innocent in a way though she had a fair bit of experience under her belt. Clothing consisted of skin hugging black riding pants and a white top made of a rather flimsy material that highlighted her slight curves. Draping her cloak over the stallions back she left the brute there whilst she walked father.
Bright green eyes stared over the cliff as she sighed. This place was always prettier at night.

Thorn walked around the clifts, she wasn't worried about falling and dieing. Hello she was a vampire, why would she care. She wasn't hungery, she wasn't really in a bad mood. This was where her first love took her where he turned her, and where she killed him. She got closer to the spot where it all happend, but there was someone else there. By the smell of her, human.
She kept walking toward the area, a corset and leather pants with a trench coat. All hanging to her body extreamly tightly, showing off her curves.

Effy was in her own mind for a moment, crouching a little to gaze over the edge she felt a lurch in her stomach just at the thought of loosing her balance that moment. Footsteps broke her thought as she turned to see first if the large stallion was just getting annoyed with her. He was perfectly still though looking nervous into the darkness. Something was coming. Clicking her tongue against the roof of her mouth the stallion trotted nervously towards her. Slipping the cloak from him she threw it over a rock and gave him a quick pet. Not needing more of an invitation he trotted off though would return when called.
Standing up straight she took several paces away from the edge then silenced waiting for whatever it was to make it's appearance. Fingers lingering over a small blade attached to her thigh.

Thorn saw the horse. Then she saw the girl, she walked out into the sunlight. "Ello love." Her finish accent was thick. "What are you doing up so high, near the edge of the clift? You could fall and get hurt." She was being extreamly nice. It was the annivery of her turning, and of her killing her love. She wasn't in the mood to hurt anyone, or anything.

Effy curiously watched the figure, her gaze showing an obvious lack of trust. She didn't trust anyone she first met, they had to earn it although to be fair it was rather an easy thing to gain where Effy was involved. A light frown as she glanced back over the edge she soon took several steps away to the safety of the flat ground, away from the edge yet closer to the stranger. "I have good balance." Her vocals a soft but as always and a gently smile played upon her pale features.
nope they can't go in the sun...which is why i made this topic set in the night for you x

"Don't be so uneasy dear, I am not here to bring you any harm. Just to remember what happend here long ago to me." This was extreamly odd for Thorn to be so civil, but this is the day she feels close to him, and loved, and to a point human. "Just many things happend here, and I feel calm here."

Effy watched her carefully keeping a fair distance. "To remember what?" She questioned with the little curious streak of hers, it got her into all sorts of trouble. She would often get lost or even slightly harmed from it. Still unaware of exactly what she was Effy decided to do a little digging. If a vampire that small glass of holy water she kept with her stallion would come in handy to bless her blade with. "Why choose the night to come, surely the day is a better suited time for remembrance?" Again her curiosity clear.

"Why is a girl as your self out here with all the vampires around. Not the best of ideas it is." She smirked. "This day is the very day I was turned long ago, I lost my love, my friends, my parents, everything." She sighed. "Tis a shame, how I wish I could go back and not run away from home, to marry who they told me, to just let my sister go with him."

Hand gripping her blade at her side just from the tone of her voice, that smirk. "Most seem to stick to the village at night, there are more rich pickings and you have a more varied choice." She smiled rather sweetly however her tones were anything but. "I would pity your story however I'm sure you have done enough to escape pity." Feeling uneasy being so close to the vampire she took several paces back until she was leaning back against the same rock her cloak was on. "How long do you plan of mourning your past up here exactly?" She wanted time to study her surroundings yet she knew that she couldn't not with a vampire just a few feet away.

"It is not a crime to morn, or to remember. Now tis it?" She walked over towards a make shift head stone. The name James was carved into it. "I will say as long as I want." She knelt down on it. "Hello James. I really miss you. You don't know how sorry I am for doing what I did to you. I love you. What I wouldn't do if I could be human with you again." She sighed.

Effy raised a brow. "No, but it's a crime to kill a human being which I'm you have of course never done." Although unsure and untrusting of her company that certainly didn't mean the girl was scared. She was actually rather calm with her pulse working at it's usual pace, nothing to give away to the vampire her uncertainty of the situation. It would probably be best to leave the creature to mourn though a childish voice in her head muttered. 'You were here first.' A small smile spread over her pale expression as she couldn't help but be amused by her mind's thoughts. She knew the vampire could easily make her leave if she wished, Effy was hardly a match for her though that didn't mean she wouldn't fight back in any case.
Turning she left the vampire to her mourning for a while. The small frame of the girl lept onto a rock giving her some extra height though it was simply done so she could see around her better. "When did he die?" Full of curious questions as always, she had never had a civil moment with a vampire so they were all bursting to come out.
There was no rush to get home on her behalf, her Father was well used to this. Sometimes she would be gone for days wandering so she never really minded about a delay on her solitary moments.

"152 years ago. I was a new vampire, and I wont kill you, I will never kill in this area again. He turned me at this very spot, but things got out of hand, I killed him." Her voice was mono tone. But her eyes showed all the human emotion, all the pain, the anger, the sorrow. "You don't know what it is like to have your loves blood on your hands, and inside of you." She sighed. "Or killing your own parents, then turning your sister and letting her fend for her self." She never forgave her self for any of it, and most likely never will. "Any human, werewolf, and vampire is safe here. No matter my anger, or hunger. I will never kill here again." She looked up at the girl. "Don't fear me up here, you are differnt, I wont ever hurt you." She was being honest. Because this is the first human that hasn't just screamed but listened to her.

Effy watched and listened to the woman with keen interest. She sat herself down on a rock and leaned forward a little her eyes wide with curiosity, the only thing keeping her from screaming and running away. "And I don't wish to know what it was like to be perfectly honest. However can't you just end it...end the killing stop hurting people. Maybe you don't see straight anywhere but here. Maybe here you can see what you did was wrong." Glancing over the edge she found herself wandering if the fall would kill the vampire however she scalded herself for thinking such things. "Sorry If I sound harsh. I don't quite understand the reality of being a vampire." She smiled softly in apology.
Only when she found out the woman didn't plan on lunging at her did Effy take a moment to watch her, not only watch her but to gaze over her. She was attractive, for being dead. Very much so in fact and Effy felt her smile grow, trust her to find those that would harm her pretty.

"Don't worrie about it. And I only feel bad about killing three people. The rest I don't care about." She stated blankly. She was extreamly calm for once. She just turned her head towards the stone and staired at it.

Effy shifted in her place a little, her eyes full of questions that she just wished would be answered however she didn't want to annoy the woman. Staring at her for a while she felt a certain warmth that was something along the lines of pity. That stopped as the spoke. "How can you not feel bad about them all?" Her question genuine as she smiled lightly to reassure. She felt great lust for answers and that other lust swimming about she wouldn't go into.
