Guess what? Today is Casimir Pulaski Day! Yeah! Okay so yesterday was Casimir Pulaski Day, but it should be today since it's his B-day.
Lol, I actully got a day out of school for him yesterday. ;D I never been to a school that lets you out for this person, so its wierd. But apparently in IL its celebrated cause of the large Polish population.
But little history lesson, Pulaski was a Polish soldier who came over to America during the revolution. He was under the command of George Washington and trained many men and is considered to be 'The Father of Calvery'.
