Riley slowly walked up the hill to the cliff side with Effy. Holding her hand. "So do you have much friends here?" he said in a curious tone. He wanted to know more about her, but at a very slow pace for now. He didn't like moving fast with girls at all unless they were ones he tortured.

Effy clutched onto his hand rather tightly though it was just the cold, sharp breeze around them, that caused her to do so. She never liked the question much that he asked, when with creatures she liked less, ones who actually wanted to kill her she tried to hide the fact that she had no close friends to notice and her father wouldn't even notice for a good few days. Sometimes Effy was gone for a week at time. "I have a few almost friends but not so much friends. The girl who goes to school with various weapons and sits with her file of funny drawings isn't the most popular in town. I think it's just somewhat a shock, for years the Vandiest woman have been...perfect." A small smile slipped over her pale expressions. "I broke that mold."

Riley looked at her curiously. "Really? you look like the type of girl that would be very popular. But then again alot of people can seem popular just by how they look." Riley used to have alot of friends back in the day, but that all kind of ended when he changed into a vampire and such. He sighed and sat down dangling his feet off of the cliff. Running his hands through his hair he licked his lips. Looking over at her. " I used to have some friends but not much now at least..."

Effy laughed lightly and shrugged at his response. "The class decided I was crazy a long time ago. I miss a lot of school because I'm away so much just finding random places that catch my interest. I don't like to stay in one place too long." A slight smile and the girl glanced over the edge of the cliff. Sitting down beside Riley she didn't hang her legs over the edge for that childish fear that someone would grab them. Instead she tucked them under her. "Being a vampire probably makes it hard to socialize...unless with other vampires really. Most people are tucked up in bed by the time you come out to play I guess."

He nodded in agreement. "Mmm Yeah I guess you could say that. We aren't really much the social type but mostly it depends on the vampire you meet. Some don't talk to anybody. They just kinda hide out by themselves and feed at night alone, but for me, I honestly like talking to people. It makes me kind of happy talking to them because it makes me remember what it was like being a human." he hung his head down. "I really miss having that feeling" he said shyly. He started to show somewhat emotions to her even though he can't really have emotions but still he had at least a few of them.

Effy glanced across at him with a slight smile, she never liked people being upset it always bummed her out. "You can still talk to people, just at night and look on the bright side, at least you won't get all ugly and old like me. You can laugh at me when I'm older, that'll make you feel better." Nudging him with her elbow lightly with a teasing grin she tried to brighten the mood a little. Although she always seemed rather childish in her jokes it was always quite a grown up and mature decision. Brushing fingers against the back of her neck to cure an itch the girl blinked several times into a nasty little breeze that seemed to catch her unaware eyes.
It was odd that cold always made her cry, well to be exact it was the breeze rather making her eyes tear up. Still, it was just annoying. Finally dropping her legs over the side of the cliff Effy then dropped back to lie on the ground.

Riley laughed alittle bit at her joke. He thought Effy was a pretty d**n funny girl and he realized she was trying to make him feel better which he thought was nice. "Haha yeah that's true. I would hate getting older and older." He closed his eyes laughing. "haha I'm going to laugh when I see the day when you get wrinkles" he said jokingly. He didn't mean it in a rude way but he wondered if what he said was really true. Would he really know her that long? He didn't really know. He looked at her awkwardly as she say tears coming down her face. It didn't really seem like she was crying but to him he didn't know for sure so why not just ask? "Are you.. ok?" he said as she layed down next to him
