Thunder raced across the sky like a rabbit across a field. The thunder caught Dawn off guard and she accidentally stumbled backward and press herself against a tree. Darker than usual, the clouds above spoke of a wild storm. For a moment, Dawn wished she listened to her classmates but she instantly dropped such a silly wish.
School usually got out before it was truly night, but today the clouds were so thick it was almost hard to see anything. Seeing the weather, her fellow classmates spoke of how vampires and other creatures would already be strolling about looking for food. Dawn did what she always did; scuffed, ignore them, and walk down the path out of town to where she lived with her Uncle outside of the village's limits. To Dawn's surprise, three of her classmates begged her to not take the risk of going home and to come back into town with them all offering to let her stay with them. Touched, Dawn didn't understand why they acted so considering none of them really liked her since she was so different from them and always argued in what they believed. Yet they seemed so concerned! With a wink Dawn had given them a thanks and turned down there offers. She was too stubborn to be scared to go home through the forest. "There's no such things as vampires!" Dawn had shouted at them before running down the path home and splashing in mud puddles. Though Dawn should have been annoyed she was happy they cared! Maybe she could fit in here.
Now Dawn was cold, horribly lost in the Silva of Bestia, and.....did I mention lost? Thunder boomed through the dark forest and Dawn hugged herself to keep warm against the cold storms wind. Dropping from the sky, rain splashed against her face. Growling, Dawn ran toward a figure of a tree she had seen when lighting lite the forest for a second. Instead though, Dawn ran right into it. She hissed and began rubbing her forehead to rid her forehead of the pain. Pushing her back against the tree, Dawn began to look around her surroundings. She could barely see anything and the noise of the forest was starting to get the best of her nerves, and that's a hard thing to do. "Oh bother I hate rain!" Dawn shouted. "I'll just wait till the rain lighten up before continuing," Dawn mumbled to herself trying to calm herself down before her frustration began to get the best of her.
