When they got to the tavern he lightly pushed open the door and walked inside and asked her what drink she wanted and he himself ordered himself just a glass of a martini. He tossed the money over to the bartender and then grabbed a table and sat down. He looked back at the music playing and then smiled at her. "Look.. It may not seem that I am sorry for biting you, but honestly, I really am sorry for biting you. It's just- an impulse I guess to bite any human I see..." He said taking a sip of his glass. He looked into her eyes and tilted his head. "you look very familiar..."

Effy just confirmed she would drink whatever he was having and slid down into a seat opposite him on the table. Sitting back a little in her chair she smiled rather gently. "Nothing to worry about. I think I have a high pain tolerance anyway." That was a tad bit of a lie, in actual fact pain fascinated her like most dark and strange things. The many different pains one could go through. It really was interesting...that or she was a twisted little freak. After all she was considering living with a vampire. "Familiar? How is that?"

He closed his eyes trying to remember why she looked familiar. Opening them he looked up at her. "You just remind me of my ex- girlfriend Tara. You look kind of like her I guess. He smiled at her. "Hey, if it makes you feel any better for me biting you, I could just sense something in your blood that made me feed off you. And this might sound strange but when your blood touched my lips I felt a sudden surge of energy." Sitting back he sighed. "Of course.. that energy died after you stabbed me." he said lifted his eyes up and taking another sip of his drink and set it down carefully.

Effy slowly nodded and raised a brow a little. "Ah, I have no clue who she is." With a little shrug she didn't give much thought to it. Picking up her drink she sipped at it however frowned a little at his words. Oh dear. Could he somehow sense that she wanted to explore the boundaries of pain, maybe that was why he bit her. A slight shiver at the thought of it she scalded herself for thinking such things. "Energy? Doesn't that usually happen or do I have like magic blood or something?" She smirked rather playfully. "It was your own fault, I happen to like not getting pushed into a tree and bitten within the fist few seconds of meeting a vampire."

He lifted his hands up agreeing to her soft words. Yeah, of course being pushed into a tree and getting bitten is the last thing a human wants when first meeting a vampire. "Yeah.. that was the wrong way of doing it." He didn't really know as to why he felt energy as he drank her blood but perhaps it just happened out of coinsedece. It could have happened from the other blood that he drank before her's. He just really wasn't that positive at the moment. "So... tell me about yourself. I mean... you don't have to I guess. I know that's kind of the last thing you want to talk about too right now after biting you.." he said looking away guilty. "I guess I have to gain trust from you, in order for you to trust me I'm guessing..."

[blovkquote]Effy pursed her lips together, she wasn't a very secretive person. Not about herself anyway, she never really found herself very interesting, she missed out on all the good stuff that happened in the town just because she was never there long enough. Effy rolled her eyes at the look on his face however it was somehow odd and adorable to see a vampire, a power creature looking rather guilty and sorry. "Erm lets see." She bit her lip a little finding anything to interest the vampire. "My Dads a wealthy blacksmith in the village, generations of the Vandiest have been, my Mother died a year ago recently to a vampire though which one I don't know...yet. Oh, I'm hardly ever at home because I have a funny fascination with strange dark places, I usually wander off for days but everyone's gotten used to it so not it's like normal." She smirked a little. "My favorite color is red, goes well with black but now my teacher doesn't like me because of course red is a 'sinful' color or what ever..ah I guess the whole weapons in class thing she doesn't quite like either." Biting her lip a moment the coment of her favorite color was more to amuse herself.
"Ohhh yes. This one's interesting at least, I met a vampire a few days ago. Vicious and quite frankly mental but because I spoke to her she promised never to hurt me...then offered for me to live with her." Effy shrugged a little. "I figured I would give it a try just to see if what she tells me is real...although the whole room full of skin stitched together by hair...I don't wanna know about. Yup. That's pretty much it I guess, see I'm not a brilliantly entertaining person. So, what about you?"[/blockquote]

(wow, loved the post! sorry if my posts suck =P)
His eyes went wide as she went into very good detail about her live and family and such things. He could tell she has a very cool life at the moment. Well.. better than his at least. He shrugged and sighed. "Well.. I don't really have much things interesting about my life at the moment really. Not that I for real have a life since I'm dead.. But anyways... I was born into a wealthy family. The Von Garretts of course. My mothers name was Isabella and my fathers Edward. They died when I was young by a vampire and now I am a vampire. Didn't really turn out how I wanted but hey at least I have another life I guess. Technically I would rather be dead than a living dead cause then I could be with my family. So here I am in Transylvania. Just living my dead life how it's supposed to be." He said with a bored tone. He stopped talking for a second and thought about the vampire she met. "Uhm let me guess.. was her name Thorn by any chance?" he knew right away who the girl was. She kind of frightened him herself but hey he had a very fun time with her in that little house of hers. Truth be told he kind of liked her, but he was starting to like Effy herself more and more. "Do me a favor please. Stay away from Thorn. She is bad news. Next thing you know she will murder you and torture you to death."

Effy felt a pain of pity for the vampire, she hated bad life stories especially it seemed vampires. Everyone around them was dead and they had to watch people they cared about die whilst they still kept on living. Ok, so some aspects of that rocked but for one Effy quite liked her soul and that little voice in her head that told her the difference between right and wrong. Effy smiled lightly. "Vampire never seem to have the happiest of pasts it seems." Glancing down awkwardly she had no more sympathetic words to offer. After all he was a vampire. With a light nod she smiled rather brightly in recognition of the name. A small frowned crossed her expression. "But she's so fascinating, she lives by her own rules in her own little society it seems. I just plan on taking a peek at that. She swore she wouldn't harm me..." Maybe Effy was a little trusting and naive, she always seeked good in people. "Well, maybe you can come with for a little while. Just 'drop by' during whatever time I stay there and keep an eye out." She offered a smile.

He shrugged as she talked of bad vampire lives. "Well.. as a kid I really did have a nice life- Until my parents were murdered that is.." he said in a slow quiet whisper. Gazing around he looked back at Effy. "I want to catch that d**n vampire that killed my parents. Althought that seems a bit impossible." tracking down a vampire that killed his parents would be awful hard he knew. You can't just put a tracer on whatever vampire you see and assume they killed his parents. It seemed to him that Effy was a confident person. Stood for her own self and made decisions by herself. Without taking another persons advice. But who would take advice from a vampire? "All I'm saying is becareful. From being a vampire I would know alot of trusting one of us. To be honest I was shocked you agreed to having a drink with me. But you know what, I'm glad you said yes." He grinned showing his fangs. " I'd like that. I could keep on eye on you two" he held out his hand touching hers barely then quickly dragged his hand away. " I- I'm sorry, you probably don't want me to touch you."
(we should take your idea and put it in a thread with you, thorn and i)

Effy nodded lightly in understanding. "Actually I've ben trying to track down the vampire that killed my Mother for the past year. I don't know if it was a passing one or even one near here." Effy sighed and frowned a little, obviously determined. "I will find them though, even if it kills me. It's something to occupy my time with. Apart from running and hiding from my Father trying to set me up with another wealthy customer I have nothing else to...do." With a gentle smile crossing her expression she actually rather looked forward to the idea of Riley coming to Thorn's. Thorn still scared the crap out of her sometimes although she rather liked Riley. Even when he had the chance he hadn't killed her. Which was always nice. "I don't so much trust her as her little warped life just fascinated me. if you were there though I'd feel a lot safer." She smiled however her gaze struck down and watched his hand quickly pull away after touching hers. Her smile grew as she rolled her eyes. Just to prove it was fine she placed her hand ontop of his and shook her head. "Look, you bit me I stabbed you, I think we're pretty much Ok now. Oh...are you Ok?" Glancing down to his side she signaled what she meant. [[I'm posting with Thorn at her place now, if she doesn't mind you could always join}}

He made a sad face. "Oh... I'm sorry about your mother." even thought Riley was a vampire he could still have alittle bit of emotions. Alot of people misunderstood that but duh. Vampires are misunderstood creatures. He laughed softly. "Yeah, I guess it could be intersting to see what Thorn shows you. Of course I will tag alone." he jumped back alittle as she placed her hand on top of his. He felt the warmth of her hand and smiled alittle. Looking down slightly at his side where she stabbed his he winced alittle. "Oh.. I'll be ok. Just alittle sting I guess." he shrugged.

Effy shook her head lightly in a kind of 'don't worry about it way'. She wasn't going to bum out another person and up until her Mother died the girl's life had been near perfect. She was the bad apple of the family but that never seemed to really bother her much, she was just...odd. Effy wrinkled her nose a little at the thought. "To be honest I'm pretty shaky about it, there's no way I'm going near that little skin room of hers and I don't know if I can just stand around and watch her 'play with her pets'." The girl shook her head, she knew she would probably get into trouble with Thorn at some point but her curiosity dragged her to say yes. Effy couldn't help but laugh at his reaction like she had just kicked him or something, glancing down she frowned as her hand lingered. She had spoke to many but never touched a vampire long enough to feel how cold and strange they were. It was only odd though because she was the total opposite. Pulling her hand away she smiled lightly. "A sting? Maybe I'll have to try harder next time you try and bite me." She teased.

He nodded in agreement. "I can see how that would bother you. To be honest, I even get quesy at times when I see her torture them and skin them." Hell at least he was man enough to admit it. Not many guys would admit stuff like that but it didn't bother him much to be honest to people at all. Just natural for him. " I guess I should come out and say this. I have tortured humans with her before" he closed his eyes hoping she wouldn't totally flip out after she heard that. He was just hoping she would take it as a normal thing. After all why didn't she flip out when she discussed that with Thorn. Kind of strange to him really...He took his finger and poked at his side and screamed alittle bit jumping up. "Ow!" he said sternly. "See.. I guess I underestimated you.. You can really stab a guy a good one. Just don't ever end up staking me please.. I can't imagine how much that would hurt..."

Effy nodded lightly in agreement. "I can't really see the thrill at all of having a room made out of skin, torture you can understand slightly I guess. It gives that person some sort of rush..or at least I'm guessing it does." Effy laughed lightly, having never tortured a human, or animal for that matter Effy could see no like to it. Of course that may have just been because Effy was more the submissive type who stood down in most situations. She didn't crave power, just excitement and affection, one of which at least you probably wouldn't get through torture. To his confession Effy seemed to find the two little wounds on her wrist more interesting. She couldn't flip out for that very reason, she had just gotten frightened when Thorn had told her, with Riley though she didn't seem to find fear. The girl was just rather put out at the fact, and there she was thinking he was a little different. Glancing up she winced straight away to see him poke his wound. "Ergh you didn't need to stick your finger in there to show me." With a gentle laugh she shook her head at him.

He shook his head laughing at her. "haha yeah true but how else would I be able to prove it to ya" he said smirking. "I like your laugh" he said in a whisper. "I like your laugh.. It's cute" he said with a puppy dog face. He was surprised that she didn't panic after hearing the torturing lecture from him. He knew she was one of those different girls that didn't panic right on site at that kind of stuff. He ran a finger over her hand. "Do you want to go out for alittle stroll" he said drinking the rest of his drink up and handed it to the bartender. He gazed around the tavern and looked back at her curious
